Custom Fit
A custom fit seat cover is one that is custom made for the automobile and fits better than anything else. Such a cover is manufactured to fit the exact year, make and model of the particular vehicle and this is why the Custom fit cover fits so well. It hugs every contour of the seat to give a perfect fit and also enhances the look of the interiors apart from providing protection.

Friction
The rubbing together of two objects when either one or both of them are in motion releases energy in the form of heat. This rubbing together of the objects is called “friction”. The heat caused by friction eventually leads to deterioration of the surface material.

Neoprene
Neoprene is used in various applications because of its oil-resistant qualities. However there are more applications of Neoprene. It is the basic component in wet suits and is also used in electrical insulation, fan belts, gaskets, noise insulation pads and also seat covers.

Pelts
Pelts are hugely popular, and are used in seat coverings too. It is the animal skin that still has got the hair, fur or wool attached to it.

Pink Slip
Pink slip is the American slang term that stands for the title of a vehicle. Street racers often wager their pink slips, which mean whoever wins the bet gets to keeps the loser’s vehicle.

Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic fiber. It has been long been in use for its water resistance qualities. It is also very strong and light weight.

Semi-Custom Fit
A semi-custom fit seat cover provides a fit that is 80% as well as a custom fit seat cover. A semi-custom seat cover should never be used on vehicles that have side impact airbags, as they hinder the process.

Universal Fit
A Universal fit seat cover fits just any bucket seat. Available in 3 standard sizes, these covers do not give a perfect fit. And so, these covers are not recommended.

UV / Ultra Violet
Ultra violet is the electromagnetic waves of light that are emitted by the sun and are invisible to the human eye. The sun emits large quantities of the UV rays but though most of it is filtered out by our atmosphere. But what does get through, is harmful to our skin as well as to the automobile upholstery.
